Music and Fine Arts

Ballou has a robust offering of music and fine arts courses and clubs.   Please follow PSD Arts Live for regular updates on concerts, contests and performances. 

Band

We offer Beginning Band, Intermediate/Cadet Band, Concert Band, Guitar Techniques, and zero hour Jazz Club.  For more information contact Director Richard Thill  .

Orchestra

We offer two large orchestra classes:  Beginning Strings and Concert Orchestra.     For more information contact  Director Zak Zydek . Mr. Zydek is also the Rogers High School Orchestra teacher. 

Choir

We have one Choir class. Director Keira Fields is excited to continue to build the choir program at Ballou. 

Art Ceramics

We have multiple levels of Art classes (Art 1-4) and Ceramics 1 and 2.  In addition, we have a highly popular Art club that meets monthly after school.  Contact Melanie Muller, Art/Ceramics teacher for more information.

Drama

We have a very popular Drama and Improv Club. One acts, improv, a talent show and one play are performed each year.  Contact Drama Director Cherie Gessner
